Special edition Hummingbird in tribute to Charlie Parker. In 2005, Selmer Paris launched a special series of « Bird » saxophones to commemorate the life of Charlie Parker (2005 was the 50th anniversary of his death). A total of 5 series were produced over 7 years, each with a unique engraving.
The Hummingbird series, which was first launched in 2005, was available as Reference 54 alto saxophones. Approximately 300 units were produced.
Series #684xxx from year 2006 Some signs of wear on the lacquer. Pads in very good condition.
